Story Tyme on The Morning Crave…
Story 1: Here’s the Most Interesting Thing Every State Has Been Googling During the Pandemic
The career website Zippia just analyzed the Google searches in every state to see what interesting thing people in each state have disproportionately searched for the most during these past five months of the pandemic.
The results are mostly a mix of hobbies, habits, self-improvement projects, foods, and alcoholic drinks.
Some of the hobbies are: “Cross-stitch” in Kansas . . . “DIY patio” in New Hampshire . . . “Build a chicken coop” in Maine . . . and “Virtual book club” in Massachusetts.
Some habits and self-improvement projects are: “Quit smoking” in West Virginia . . . “Going vegan” in Nevada . . . and “How to become a YouTuber” in Indiana.
Some foods are: “Chicken nuggets” in Oklahoma . . . “Little Debbie cakes” in Arkansas . . . “Banana bread” in Hawaii . . . and “Hot wings” in Wyoming.
Some alcohols are: “Bloody Mary” in Wisconsin . . . “Boxed wine” in Minnesota . . . “Vodka pops” in Mississippi . . . and “Day drinking” in New Mexico . . . “Mikes Hard Lemonade” in Nebraska.
And finally, there’s Missouri, where the top search is . . . “Meth recipe.”

Story 2: Introducing the “Brokini” . . . a Bikini for Men
If you liked Borat’s bathing suit but want to show 8% less skin, this is for you. Two guys from Toronto launched a new line of bathing suits called the “brokini,” a bikini for men.
It’s not a two-piece, so it’s not really a bikini. There’s a single strap that goes over one shoulder. So it’s more like a skimpier version of André the Giant’s wrestling singlet. But with fun patterns.
They’ve got two versions for sale at Brokinis.com. One with pineapple polka dots, and a pink-and-white one that’s covered with flamingos. Each suit costs $40.
Story 3: McDonald’s Is Making Spicy McNuggets, the First New Flavor Ever
McDonald’s added Chicken McNuggets to their menu in 1983 and they basically haven’t ever touched them since.
But the fast food CHICKEN WARS are still raging on, even if the world has become a lot more preoccupied with other stuff. It was only last year when the biggest thing to worry about was whether you could get a Popeyes chicken sandwich.
So McDonald’s is about to release its first new type of McNuggets ever. And they are . . . Spicy Chicken McNuggets.
They’ll hit stores on September 16th and they’ll only be available for a limited time. There’s also a new dipping sauce you can get with them called Mighty Hot Sauce.
And really, McDonald’s needed to do SOMETHING to get their customers excited. They’ve taken a huge hit during the pandemic, especially around breakfast now that there are less people commuting.
