The Largest Candy Corn Factory Has Been Hacked

Halloween is just around the corner, and candy corn lovers everywhere SHOULD be experiencing PEAK JOY.  But that joy is under ATTACK.

A company in Chicago called Ferrara Candy makes Brach’s candy corn, which accounts for 85% of the country’s candy corn market.  And earlier this month, they were HACKED.

They were hit with a malicious ransomware attack, but no other specifics have been released.

Bud Light Is Selling an Eggnog Hard Seltzer for the Holidays

This whole hard seltzer trend has officially hit the “Wait, this must be a JOKE” stage.  Bud Light is selling a new EGGNOG-flavored hard seltzer for the holidays.

It’s part of a new variety 12-pack called the “Ugly Sweater Pack,” which they also did last year.  But three of the four flavors are new:  Seltzer Nog, Sugar Plum, and Cherry Cordial.  The fourth one is Cranberry, which was also in last year’s Ugly Sweater Pack.

They’ll be available nationwide starting November 1st.  This comes on the heels of the “Fall Flannel” pack they started selling in September.  That one includes Pumpkin Spice, Maple Pear, Apple Crisp, and Toasted Marshmallow seltzers.

A Museum’s TikTok Is Banned for Posting Nudes, So They Launched an OnlyFans

It’s no secret that social media platforms struggle with blocking nudity.  It seems like they miss all the stuff they intend on catching . . . and then flag posts that are NOT pornographic.

There’s also the issue of nudes in fine art, and whether they should also be censored.  In 2018, Facebook was mocked in Europe for censoring 400-year-old nude paintings from the Baroque painter Peter Paul Rubens.

Now, a group of museums in Vienna, Austria is so fed up with being censored on TikTok that they created . . . an OnlyFans account.

A spokesperson said the city’s museums had their social media accounts suspended.  Quote, “Vienna and its art institutions are among the casualties of this new wave of prudishness . . . with nude statues and famous artworks blacklisted.

“We’ve had 3,000-year-old works of art be censored [on social media] . . . clearly there is something wrong here . . . that’s why we decided to put the capital’s world-famous ‘explicit’ artworks on OnlyFans.”
