The City of Kearney Street Division announces that beginning October 3, 2022, the intersection of 21st Street and A Avenue will be partially closed for intersection reconstruction work.
Northbound and southbound traffic on A Avenue will be maintained during construction.
The reconstruction work will be completed in two phases; the west half of the intersection and the east half of the intersection.
During each phase, the half of the intersection being worked on will not have access to 21stStreet, while the other half will remain open.
The work is expected to take approximately 2-3 weeks in total (1-1.5 weeks per phase), weather pending. Citizens are reminded to use caution when traveling around the work zone.
