#1 Singles – Asher Saulsbury 5-0 Champion
“Asher did a great job of controlling the points today. His closest match was 8-1. Asher did an excellent job of seizing the momentum in the championship match. He did well to mix up his game to frustrate his opponent.” – KHS Boys Tennis Coach Troy Saulsbury
#2 Singles – Aydan Nelson 5-0 Champion
“Aydan also had an outstanding day with his closest match being 8-2. In the finals, Aydan played one of the most complete matches I have seen him play this season. The Hastings kid was undefeated in #2 singles and Aydan was able to beat him 8-2. Aydan did a great job of moving his opponent around. He utilized the drop shot very well. I also liked how Aydan was patient and waited until he got an opportunity to attack in that match.” – KHS Boys Tennis Coach Troy Saulsbury
#1 Doubles – Drew Welch/Kyler Eklund 4-1 3rd Place
#2 Doubles – Brayden Kohtz/Kyler Nichols 4-1 2nd Place
“Brayden and Kyler also had a successful day with their only loss being a tiebreaker in the finals. Brayden and Kyler continue to get better and better. I really like how they went out and dominated their pool play matches. Then they went toe-to-toe with a very good Grand Island doubles team.” – KHS Boys Tennis Coach Troy Saulsbury
