KANSAS CITY, MO – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association announced its weekly award winners for the sixth week of the 2023 volleyball season.

Peyton Neff, UNK setter, earned the honor of the MIAA’s Setter of the Week Award.

Neff helped the No. 9-ranked Lopers push their win streak to eight in a row with MIAA victories over Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri. The redshirt sophomore averaged 12.3 assists, 2.3 digs, 1.2 kills and 1.0 blocks per set while posting a .312 hitting percentage.

This is Neff’s second weekly honor, earning the Week One Setter of the Week award.

Additionally, Jaden Ferguson earned a notable defensive performance. Ferguson was at a team-high 4.17 digs per set as No. 9-ranked Nebraska Kearney pushed its win streak to eight. From her right-side spot, she had 12 digs and two blocks against Missouri Western and then 14 digs and two blocks against Northwest Missouri.a
