NEBRASKA — Raising Cane’s is rallying Huskers fans across Nebraska to honor the life and legacy of Jack Hoffman, the inspiration behind the Team Jack Foundation, with a statewide fundraiser on Wednesday, Feb. 12.
From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Customers can mention the fundraiser at checkout, and 15% of mentioned proceeds will be donated to the Team Jack Foundation and their mission to improving treatment options for children battling brain cancer.
Jack, who captured hearts nationwide in 2013 when he ran for a 69-yard touchdown during the Husker Spring Game while fighting brain cancer, passed away recently after a 13-year battle with the disease. His unforgettable moment, known as “The Run,” earned him the 2013 ESPY Award for Best Moment in Sports and cemented his place as a beloved figure in Nebraska and beyond.
Now, Husker fans have the chance to move Jack’s legacy forward by joining Raising Cane’s in the fight against pediatric brain cancer. Together, we can make a ONE LOVE® difference.
