GRAND ISLAND — A man was arrested for assault and intentional child abuse in Grand Island after a 17-year-old girl was struck by a frying pan on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, officers responded to W. 4th St. at 6:18 p.m. for the report of an adult male who had struck his 17-year-old stepdaughter with a frying pan in the head during a verbal disturbance.
James Conant would be arrested for second degree assault, intentional child abuse and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
