GRAND ISLAND — A burglary was reported at the Sterling Apartments after around $900 in tools was stolen from the property earlier in the month.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, on Wednesday, March 12 at 11:03 a.m., officers responded to the Sterling Apartments at 3721 W. Capital Ave. in reference to a burglary that took place on March 5.
The officer was advised that a suspect entered the maintenance shed of the complex and stole around $910.24 worth of tools.
The last time the tools were seen in the shop was on March 4 around 5 p.m.
