CENTRAL NEBRASKA — NRG Media radio stations hosted their annual One For Heroes event honoring medical personnel and first responders on Wednesday, May 7.
“One day for us to let those who serve us all as Medical Personnel and First Responders know how much we Appreciate their personal commitment and sacrifice,” NRG Media stated.
The different stations were at various locations throughout the Tri-Cities with Hits 106 at Apple Market in Kearney, 107.7 The Island at Super Saver in Grand Island, Rock 101.5 at Five Points Super Saver and Y102 at Russ’s Market in Hastings.
A free lunch and t-shirt were provided to thank the personnel and first responders for their time and sacrifices they make.
NRG Media has hosted a similar event in the fall honoring military personnel and veterans.
