GRAND ISLAND — A suspect was arrested in Grand Island after a 12-year-old was physically assaulted on Friday, May 30.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, at 10:38 a.m., officers responded to a report of child abuse within the city limits.
During the investigation, officers determined Tyler Breiner had allegedly physically assaulted a 12-year-old girl by grabbing her by the neck, picking her up off her feet and threw her to the ground.
This incident took place in front of the 12-year-old’s sisters who are five years old and seven years old.
Breiner was arrested for three counts of child abuse and strangulation.
