Another night, another Nebraska volleyball victory.
The No. 3 Huskers swept No. 12 Purdue in West Lafayette Wednesday evening. The 25-21, 20, 18 victory is the tenth consecutive win for NU, improving the season record to 17-1 and 9-0 in the Big Ten Conference.
Nebraska has swept their last five opponents, three of which were ranked.
NU outhit Purdue .295 to .140 for the match. In the third set, the Boilermakers managed to hit just .029.
Bekka Allick led all hitters with 12 kills on .611 hitting, adding four blocks. Whitney Lauenstein tied for the team lead with four blocks on the night.
Madi Kubik pitched in nine kills and nine digs.
Nicklin Hames dished out 21 assists while Anni Evans had 16.
Nebraska will try and stay focused on their next opponent, Saturday at Illinois, but a date with reigning national champion No. 5 Wisconsin is looming next Wednesday.
