A Holdrege man has been sentenced to 10 years for methamphetamine charges.
On Friday in federal court Josiah Negley, 35, was sentenced to 120 months imprisonment for conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine. Following his sentence Negley will serve a five year supervised release.
In March 2019, law enforcement obtained a search warrant for a building in Kearney, Nebraska.
Negley was inside the building during the search, and resulted in 117 grams of methamphetamine being seized.
Co-defendants, Rodney Randolph and Nicole Peterson. admitted they all traveled to Colorado to get pounds of methamphetamine to bring back to Kearney, Nebraska, to distribute.
Randolph pled guilty and is scheduled for sentencing on December 21, 2022. Peterson was sentenced to 120 months imprisonment followed by 5 years of supervised release.
This case was investigated by the Nebraska State Patrol and the Kearney Police Department.
