Story 1:  Women Find Men Less Attractive When They’re Holding a Cat

I’m not saying women post ALL the cat content you see online.  But they’re kind of the target market.  So this just seems unfair . . .

A new study found women find men less attractive if THEY’RE into cats.

Researchers at Colorado State University took photos of various men . . . one by themselves, and one of them holding a cat.

Then over 700 women rated the photos.  And when men were holding cats, they were seen as less masculine AND less datable.

It applied to both short-term and long-term relationship potential.  So they were less datable across the board.  And they were seen as “more neurotic” when holding a cat.

There was one key demographic that didn’t care though.  Women who described themselves as a “cat person” were just as likely to say a guy was datable, whether he was holding a cat or not.

In other words, it didn’t hurt their chances with women who love cats.  But it also didn’t help.

Story 2:  A Man Has Set a New World Record for the Largest Stack of Eggs

A man named Mohammed Abelhameed Muqbel has set a new Guinness World Record for the largest STACK OF EGGS.  (???)  It’s THREE.

He identified each egg’s center of mass, and then stacked them exactly so that they’d be able to stand end-over-end.  To get the record, they had to remain stacked for five seconds, and all three eggs had to be fresh and free of cracks.

Mohammed has been teaching himself to balance things since he was six years old.  He’s 20 now.

Mohammed Abelhameed Muqbel has set a Guinness World Records of largest stack of eggs. Muqbel was able to identify each egg's centre of mass and stack them exactly so that the combined centre of mass of the three eggs was situated directly above the very small base of the stack. This required high concentration, patience and practice. #worldrecord #guinessworldrecord #khaleejtimes #knowyourkt #khaleejtimesonline #dailyart #practicemakesperfect

Story 3:  Serious Question: How Do You Make a Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich?

Apparently the Internet has been arguing about the best way to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  And if you’re wondering, “How many ways are there?” . . . the answer is at least three.

Most people take two pieces of bread . . . add peanut butter to one side . . . jelly to the other . . . slap them together . . . and call it a day.

Another way is to put the peanut butter AND jelly on one piece of bread, then toss the second piece of plain bread on top.  Apparently that one’s popular too.  But some people say those methods don’t always yield the best results.

Instead, they say to put a little bit of peanut butter on BOTH pieces of bread first to act as a barrier, which prevents the jelly from soaking into the bread and making it soggy.

In related news, a recent survey asked 9,000 Americans if they prefer creamy or crunchy peanut butter.  And CREAMY was the clear winner.  55% prefer creamy . . . 31% said crunchy . . . 4% like both equally . . . and 10% of us never eat peanut butter.

Men are slightly more likely to enjoy crunchy than women.
