Parkinson’s disease is a degenerative disorder of the nervous system that causes tremors, stiffness, and difficulty with coordination and balance. The KCAC Parkinson’s Support Group is dedicated to provide resources and support to individuals living with Parkinson’s disease and raising awareness in the community.
“We are thrilled to partner with BHECN and Davis Phinney Foundation on Parkinson’s to raise awareness about Parkinson’s disease and provide a fun, free event for the community,” said Anne Johnson, coordinator of the KCAC Parkinson’s Support Group. “We hope that this event will not only be enjoyable but will also encourage people to learn more about Parkinson’s disease and support those living with the disease.”
In addition to the free movie, attendees will receive complimentary popcorn and a beverage. While pre-registration is not required to attend the event, interested individuals are encouraged to register in advance using the provided link or QR code.
