The Buffalo County Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the persons involved in the stabbing and shooting incidents from this week.

Kearney Police Investigators and our allied Law Enforcement Partners continue to investigate the large disturbance and gun shots fired on Sunday May 14, 2023 at a party in the 1000 block of W 23rd Street. Investigators continue to analyze large amounts of physical and digital evidence while also interviewing multiple witnesses.

At approximately 3:50 a.m. this morning (05/17/23), KPD Officers received several reports of multiple gunshots fired, striking a residence in the 600 block of W. 25th Street. No injuries were reported, however there was damage to the residence. This is believed to be related to the incident that occurred on Sunday morning in which multiple gunshots were fired in the 1000 block of W. 23rd Street. Evidence has been collected at the scene and is being processed.
