KEARNEY – As of Sept. 11, 2023 all Bivalent Moderna and Pfizer-VioNTech COVID-19 vaccine are no longer authorized for use in the United States.

What Does This Mean?– All current providers of COVID-19 vaccine will be receiving an updated vaccine formulated to target current variants of COVID-19, and current vaccine will no longer be offered.

What You Need To Know – Everyone six months and older is eligible for a single dose of the updated vaccine. Individuals ages six months to four years who have not yet been vaccinated are eligible for two doses.

At this time TRPHD has not received a shipment of the updated vaccine. Local providers expect to have updated vaccine in late September or early October. Vaccination remains critical to public health and continued protection against serious consequences of COVID-19, including hospitalization and death. Please contact us with questions regarding COVID tests or vaccines.
