The Nebraska Department of Transportation announced that Interstate 80 east and westbound from Ogallala is now fully reopened to motorists.
According to the NDOT, I-80 eastbound and westbound from Kearney to the Wyoming border is fully reopened to motorists after a long closure from winter weather conditions Tuesday. Work is ongoing on Highway 30 from Ogallala to the Wyoming border.

On Tuesday NDOT closed Interstate 80 and Highway 30 was closed east and west bound from North Platte to the Wyoming State Line due to snow and blowing snow and blizzard conditions. The closure was then extend to Kearney.
