KEARNEY – The UNK Football team continues to seek out competition heading into Ryan Held’s second season.
The Lopers announced via social media on Wednesday morning that UNK will hold a spring scrimmage with Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday, April 13 at Lewis Central High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The scrimmage will be free to the public.
UNK has worked to get out of their usual routine of schedules and scrimmages; earlier this month, the Lopers announced their updated 2024 non-conference schedule featuring Chadron State and Southwest Minnesota State.
The Lopers spring season is set to begin with practices in late march, with the UNK Spring Game set for Friday, April 19 at 6 PM from Ron & Carol Cope Stadium. The Loper Backers banquet fundraiser event is set for six days later on April 25.
