GRAND ISLAND — Can Care-A-Van of Grand Island extends its sincere appreciation to the community for the generosity shown during this year’s event.

More than 7,000 pounds of food were collected and distributed among several local food pantries, including Blessed Sacrament, Hope Harbor, St. Mary’s, and the Salvation Army.

This support arrives at a time when food insecurity continues to affect many families. The contributions made during Can Care-A-Van will have a direct and meaningful impact on those served by these partner organizations.

Special recognition goes to Amur and the individual volunteers who donated their time and resources to assist with unloading, sorting, dividing, and reloading pantry items. Their involvement ensured that the process ran smoothly and efficiently and played a key role in the event’s success.
